This Notice sets out how we collect, use and protect your Personal Data which you have provided to us. By engaging us and/or accepting our Employment Offer and/or opening an account with us and/or applying for credit facilities with us and/or providing us your information in order for us to provide employment and/or our services, you hereby consent to the processing of all personal information and data by us in the provision of the services that you have requested from us.

1. Personal Data

1.1 The “Personal Data” that you provide or have provided to us includes information and data such as name, contact details, address, email address, NRIC number or passport and/or bank account information and/or credit or debit card details.

1.2 In addition to the Personal Data that you provide to us directly (whether when engaging us to provide our services or during any communication with us), we may also collect your Personal Data from various other sources, including without limitation, from online search tools, information obtained from third parties through lawful sources including but limited to Companies Commission of Malaysia, CTOS Business Systems Sdn Bhd and Malaysia Department of Insolvency, or at events organized or participated by us.

1.3 In respect of personal data of third parties provided by you to us, you warrant that you have obtained their consent allowing us to process their personal data and you will extend a copy of this Notice to them.

2. Purpose of Processing of Personal Data

2.1 By engaging us or accepting employment, you hereby agree and consent to us using and processing your Personal Data provided to us, in the manner and for the purposes as described below:

i. For the purpose of our services and registration of an account with us;
ii. For the purpose of us keeping records of employees upon the acceptance of your employment;
iii. For preparing any documents or instrument which may be required for the purposes set out in sub-paragraph (ii) above and such other ancillary work in connection with sub-paragraph (ii) above and any other relevant documents as required from time to time;
iv. To provide such necessary information to any regulatory or governmental authorities as required by statutory, regulatory or governmental requirements;
v. For our internal administrative purposes including historical and conflict checking purposes;
vi. For the Company to communicate with you; and
vii. Or the Company to comply with its obligations under law or any regulations imposed by regulatory or governmental authorities.

2.2 It is voluntary for you to supply your Personal Data to us. However, if you do not wish to provide your Personal Data, we may not able to:

1. Provide you the services that you require; or
2. Communicate effectively with you.

2.3 We may also use and process your Personal Data for other purposes such as:

i. To send you materials such as promotions information, season greeting card, newsletters, articles, write-ups and other updates, distribute information of events, conferences, talks and seminars which may be of interest to you; and

2. Potential referees to potential clients who request for referees of past work in our credential statements, if any, by way of email or mail.

If you do not wish to agree or provide consent to us in processing your Personal Data for the purposes set out in this paragraph 2.3, please notify us by contacting us via the contact details set out in paragraph 4.1 below.

3. Disclosure of Personal Data

3.1 Your Personal Data provided to us or obtained by us shall be kept confidential by us. However, it may be necessary for us to engage third party companies, service providers or individuals to perform certain services on our behalf. In such event, you hereby agree and consent that we may disclose and transfer your Personal Data to the third Parties, within or outside Malaysia, including without limitation, as follows:

i. banks and financial institutions;
ii. insurance providers;
iii. telco companies;
iv. advertising firms;
v. telemarketing purposes;
vi. storage facility providers;
vii. external advisors and other professional advisors, such as auditors, lawyers; and
viii. such other party deems necessary for the purposes mentioned in paragraph 2 above.

3.2 We shall disclose and transfer the information to any statutory bodies, regulatory bodies and/or governmental authorities where legally required to do so.

4. Request for Access and Inquiries

4.1 You may at any time hereafter request for access to, or request for ratification or correction of your Personal Data (subject to payment of fees, if applicable), or limit the processing of your Personal Data by us, a the case may be, however subject to the exceptions and restrictions as may be contained under the applicable law. 4.2 Please note that we have the right to refuse your request to access and/or make any correction to your Personal Data to the extent permitted under the applicable law.

5. General

5.1 We reserve the right to amend or modify this Notice from time to time.
5.2 This Notice is issued in both English and Bahasa Malaysia. In the event of any inconsistencies or discrepancies between the English version and the Bahasa Malaysia version, the English version shall prevail.

Kindly ensure the details mentioned above are submitted to us, within 24 hours upon receiving the order. This gesture will ensure that the photos taken can reflect the actual condition of the product when you receive it.

Kindly note that Refund/Exchange are subject to case to case basis.

Refund/Exchange will only be processed when the info provided is accurate and fulfil our terms & conditions.

You are required to return the old order in its full original packaging when we deliver the replacement to you.

Should the replacement product is out of stock; we will replace the item with a similar value or refund the specific product.

Chippy Chip MY will bear the delivery fee for your replacement items.

We reserve the rights to make amendments to the ‘Return & Refund Policy’ without prior notice.
